We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the amazing Round Top Elementary parents for your incredible support during our ‘Wickedly Oz-some” Teacher Appreciation Week! Your generosity truly made our teachers feel valued and appreciated. Here is a recap of what your monetary support helped make happen:
Monday: No One Mourns the Mondays
We provided a treat cart that rounded to each staff member with a selection of a Wicked Themed cake pop and cookie, along with iced and hot coffees.
Tuesday: POPular Beverage Cart
Faculty could pop into the workroom to make their own flavored drink, with the “Good Ice” from Sonic.
Wednesday: Everyone Deserves the Chance to Fly
5th grade families continued the tradition of providing a grab and go breakfast. We had Biscuitville minis, ice coffee, fruit, yogurt, and muffins available for teachers and staff to start their day.
Thursday: Pink Goes Good with GREENery
The PTO created a new item for the faculty to enjoy with the first ever “Bloom Bar”. Staff could come into the workroom and choose a small vase and create a mini flower arrangement with their choice of roses, carnations, tulips, alstroemeria, and greenery. They also got to choose a flavored water.
Friday: Because of You, We Have Been Changed for Good
Parents volunteered to provide our final duty free lunch of the year. While parent volunteers watched students in the cafeteria, staff enjoyed a pizza lunch from Stoner’s pizza in the Science room, while music played. They also got to select a gift card from either Starbucks, Chick Fil A, Quicktrip, or Dunkin Donuts.
Your combined efforts in donating and volunteering made Teacher Appreciation Week a resounding success. Thank you for your continued dedication to our teachers and the Round Top Elementary community! The PTO Executive Board heard countless comments from faculty and staff on how appreciated and uplifting all the treats were. Thank you to everyone who donated funds, volunteered their time, and helped make the week a huge success!
